Context
The marketing team at ZenPayroll wanted to better communicate payroll-related concepts to their customers on their blog. As a freelance visual designer, I worked with the marketing staff to convert paragraphs of text into easy-to-digest infographics to go along with their blog posts.
Process
Every project started with hand-sketches and simple wireframes to explore 2~3 visual directions based on the copy provided by the marketing team. In the meantime, I also made moodboards to demonstrate the vision of the look and feel. After nailing down a direction with the team, I then spent more time finalizing the visual details, such as the typography, color palette and illustrations.
